ECO Grouting Specialists Inc. is a very specialized consulting engineering company focused on grouting and applied grouting technology.

ECO is recognized as a leader (world wide) in the field of grouting technology due to its innovative approach and its contribution to the development of new technologies. ECO has worked in 55 different countries and is frequently called upon to provide immediate assessment and assistance in emergency inflow situations and provide a variety of economical, practical and permanent designs for Grouting Operations as it pertains to:

• Stopping / controlling major and minor seepage or inflows, pre-excavation grouting ahead of tunneling and mining through water bearing rock, soil and rock grouting for curtain grouting in dam foundation, dikes around landfills, tailings pond and spills, crack injection, hydro blocks, plugs
• Grouting with cement based suspension grouts as well as solution grouts such as water reactive polyurethane grout, acrylamide and sodium silicate based grouts and auxiliary grouts using cement based grouts in conjunction with acrylamide, acrylates, sodium silicate, “resident pipe” system.

ECO is looking to hire Engineers with various levels of experience to join our team of professionals.

Job Responsibilities:

• Carry out quality control, collect factual information and quantities reconciliation
• Assist with the design, method statement, cost estimate for grouting programs
• Provide on site direction during the grouting program
• Report preparation and proposal writing
• Carry out laboratory testing programs
• Provide technical support to Senior Engineers

Qualifications:

• University graduate with a degree in Geotechnical, Geological, or Civil Engineering
• All candidates must be eligible for registration as a Professional Engineer in the Province of Ontario
• Excellent English verbal/written communication skills
• Strong Technical and computer skills
• Valid Driver's license
• Able to pass frequent and unscheduled drug testing for banned substances
• Able to obtain a TN Work Visa for the United States
  

Preference will be given to those with previous experience in the field of grouting technology. Proficiency with CAD program would be an asset.

Compensation is dependant on experience and training required.
