The Casecnan project involved the construction of a 26 km long tunnel, two diversion dams, underground hydroelectric powerhouse, underground set of settling chambers, and related access tunnels and structures. ECO was involved in several aspects of the project including the curtain grouting program under each of the dams, grouting for water control and ground stabilization in the tunnelling operations, general grouting of related structures and the design and installation of the rock anchors.
ECO evaluated the Contractor’s grouting work plan and provided on-site supervision and assessment of the grouting program throughout the construction project.
